SUMMARY:LA Office Citizenship Clinics (in-person)
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with local community organizations\, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California hosts free citizenship application workshops where our staff and volunteers help verify eligibility for citizenship\, complete the citizenship application\, and prepare a fee waiver request for individuals who qualify. \nThe first Thursday of every month is an in-person clinic at the Alhambra Library. The second and third Thursday of every month is virtual. The fourth Thursday of every month is an in-person clinic at our LA office. In addition\, we distribute USCIS-issued study materials to prepare applicants for the test and interview. In addition\, Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California trains community organizations throughout California and across the country to provide citizenship application services. \nAn appointment is required prior to attending our Citizenship Clinics.
