DESCRIPTION:Learn About SponsorshipConfirm Sponsorship\n			\n				\n			\n				EVENT PROGRAM\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Location: Japanese American National Museum\, 100 N Central Ave\, Los Angeles\, CA 90012 \nEach year AJSOCAL hosts an Anniversary Dinner\, which is a signature event that benefits AJSOCAL through the generous support of individuals\, companies\, and foundations.  \nThe gala celebrates AJSOCAL’s accomplishments throughout the year and highlights its year-round programs and services. Additionally\, we honor those who have made a significant impact on the community. The event includes elected officials\, community partners\, members of the Asian American bar associations and leaders from the arts\, culture\, and media as well as corporate\, legal\, and nonprofit sectors.  \nWith a connection to past recent years\, the theme is UNITED: ART IN ACTION. This theme represents the power of API creativity and expression in social justice. We will use a combination of visual artistry and festive-style performances to represent multiple API ethnicities along with the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) as our venue. This cocktail dinner will be held for approximately 500 guests in the indoor/outdoor reception area of JANM. We will be doing COVID attestations as well. Upbeat red carpet arrivals will be followed by cocktails and mingling\, a short award presentation and cocktail-style dinner. This year\, we will keep the program short and focus more on networking and mingling. Rather than a series of speeches and performances on stage\, API dancers\, performers\, and drummers will be interspersed throughout the night and among the guests—in the spirit of street performers. Brief acknowledgments and one award will be presented for notable creativity and commitment to social justice.
