Covid Recedes. Anti-Asian Sentiment Persists?” Seminar: Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL) will host a “Covid Recedes. Anti-Asian Sentiment Persists?” Seminar on August 25 at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library. This Cantonese-speaking seminar will discuss topics about Anti-Chinese and Anti-Asian hate, scapegoating amidst US-China tensions, and why Chinese are reluctant to speak up.  Guests are welcome to share their experiences. Our Community Engagement Navigator Heidi Shen and Community Legal Advocate Sylvia Shing will share tips about how to stop anti-Asian hate, support the victims and make our community safe.
