We are thrilled to welcome Ash Alvandi as the Vice President of Orange County at AJSOCAL!
As our first ever VP of Orange County (OC), Ash will lead AJSOCAL’s regional office, driving development efforts, expanding programs, and fostering partnerships to address the unique needs of the OC community. Serving on the AJSOCAL Executive Leadership Team, Ash will help steer our organization’s strategic vision, ensuring our mission thrives across Southern California.
Ash is a powerhouse of experience, visionary leadership, and unyielding commitment to community advocacy. As District Director for State Senator Dave Min, Ash served over 1.1 million constituents in the heart of OC, helping to secure more than $100 million in funding through earmarks, AAPI equity initiatives, and state grants. He also played a critical role in analyzing public policy to mold legislation contributing to the passage of important policy packages.
Prior to his public service, Ash spearheaded large scale political campaigns, consistently uniting diverse stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes. Recognized as one of the Orange County Register’s “Top 125 Most Influential People” and the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs’ “40 Under 40,” Ash has cemented his reputation as a dynamic force for change.
