This year’s gala honored the 25th anniversary of the murder of Joseph Ileto, a Filipino American postal worker who was tragically killed in an attack by a white supremacist and commemorated over four decades of AJSOCAL’s relentless commitment to justice, advocacy, and coalition-building within the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.  In attendance were leaders such as U.S. Representative Judy Chu, actor Lou Diamond Phillips, and AJSOCAL President Emeritus Stewart Kwoh.
